A professional race driver with Alliance Autosport, Ryan Verra competes in the USF2000 Series. Ryan Verra recently won two races at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, which represents his first victory in the USF2000 National Class. He won praise from team owner Scott Rettich for the strong, error-free performance.
Verra came to formula car racing after experimenting with a variety of fast vehicles. An athlete and martial artist from an early age, he has also enjoyed skateboarding and motocross biking in the past.
Verra is also dedicated to giving back to the community. After experiencing the loss of family members to cancer in 2012, he decided to get involved in the fight against the disease. In collaboration with the Cancer Research Society, he conducts a campaign known as Driven 2 Research, which seeks to leverage the publicity surrounding racing to raise awareness and funding for cancer research. Ryan Verra’s car, number 25, bears the decals of donors to the program. The decals contain the names of donors’ loved ones who have been affected by cancer.
